Grief is hard

Hello! I’m taking a little break from my work day to read. I was talking to my mom the other day and I told her I’ve been keeping a Polaroid picture of my Vovó from the 80s as my bookmark. It makes me feel closer to her. My mom told me she’s been keeping a photograph of our beloved Vovó near the house phone, so that when anyone calls, she sees her face. It really touched me because it confirmed we’re grieving in similar ways. ❤️

Grief is hard, but I’ve found that when I aim to channel my grandmother’s strength, I feel lifted and empowered to move forward with love and light. What has worked for you while grieving?
